Top youth brand, Mudd, will debut women's and girls' costume jewelry at Market Week in June; products will be in-store for back-to-school 2004. Mudd signed the deal with K&M Associates. Steven Seidman, Chairman of Ingroup Licensing, Mudd's exclusive licensing agent, and Greg Lamoreaux , K&M's Sales and Marketing Vice President, made the announcement.

Mudd is one of the leading global youth brands; US retail sales alone are in excess of $1 billion annually. According to Seidman and Lamoreaux, K&M will produce jewelry that will bring consumers the up-to-the-minute fashion that Mudd is known for.

The line will include necklaces, rings, and bracelets in a variety of materials and styles.

The Mudd jeans line was founded in 1995 and has grown to include 19 domestic and international licensees which carry the Mudd name and create products in the Mudd image. The house of Mudd creates clothing for trendsetters everywhere regardless of race, creed, color, sex or social status. Each style is as special as the person wearing it. Our name is Mudd.


K&M Associates was founded in 1959 and is today one of the largest providers of costume jewelry in the United States. K&M's traditional growth came from developing many retailer's house' brands. In 2001 they opened their Vendýme Division, which designs and produces the Anne Klein and Guess? lines of fashion jewelry. Legendary Service is another division of K&M, which provides accessory merchandising services to retailers and vendors in all 50 states. In 1995, K&M became of division of American Biltrite Inc. Ingroup Licensing is the exclusive licensing agent for Mudd. Based in New City, NY, with offices in Manhattan, Ingroup concentrates on developing fashion brands, with an emphasis on youth brands. Other clients include mac & jac and ElJay.
