Fast-growing, young contemporary fashion brand, kenzie, will launch kenzie kidz at MAGIC in August. kenzie signed the deal with Montreal-based JC Group. Eric Karls, kenzie's CEO, and Steven Seidman, chairman of Ingroup Licensing, kenzie's exclusive licensing agent, made the announcement.

kenzie kidz reflects the same trend-setting contemporary styling, which attributes to kenzie's allure and success, yet it's inspired by and designed for girls between the ages of 7-16. The separates collection includes jeans, capris, shorts, skorts, skirts, jackets, sweaters, tees, camis, tunics and dresses. Fabrications mirror the soft sophistication of kenzie, including denim, sateen twill, tissue jersey, stretch jersey, woven poplins and voiles and fleece knits, over sixty styles will show at MAGIC.

According to Neil Miller of JC Group, "The line will retail at a moderate price point." We will be targeting Nordstrom, Dillards, Macy's, Belk, Marshall Field's and Von Maur. kenzie kidz will also be found in specialty stores and boutiques in the US and Canada.

Eric Karls notes, "kenzie has been very successful growing through licensing; within the past year, shoes, accessories, jewelry and loungewear have been added to the brandýs portfolio."

kenzie is a young contemporary brand parented by Vancouver-based Westcoast Contempo Fashions, Ltd.
